Yeah, man. Sorry, your car is very very nice, but I have swapped out an entire (tan) interior before and it is something I would rather avoid doing.

Hhhmmm, only 25mpg huh? That is bad news. I am averaging 22ish with a heavy foot and 80% highway. For some reason I recall my 318is averaging closer to 29. Its been years though and I didn't really pay as much attention to my gas mileage as I do now haha.

Can you post more pictures that aren't all "artsy"? Specifically the interior?

How many miles?

What? I chose these photos because they show the mods and overall condition of the car. I will take an interior shot when I get home this evening as I don't like taking shitty photos with my phone.

The car has 290k miles on it, but you would never know it. It has good compression accross all 6 cylinders and doesn't burn oil. The previous owner told me he rebuilt the head, but he didn't provide me with any paperwork. The transmission shifts like butter, however the shifter bushings are worn.

Since I'm selling my car with 220,000 miles on it, I got curious and decided to see if my car has the original engine in it. I found a # on the side of the block(driver's side) and it doesn't match the car's VIN at all.  Just wanted to know if I was looking at the right #. Thanks. If it's the right # my car has a newer engine:)

Ha! Yeah, I know you were being facetious regarding the "chick" thing.  AS you have seen this is a cool little car. Especially with the 20 valve silvertop 4age. <---Very sweet engine. 20v with ITB's (they come stock) sound VERY sexy!!

^^^Thanks a mil for the offer bro, but it looks like it's not going to happen. The costs--time, money, etc--are too great. I have owned an ae86 before and they are A LOT of fun. Extremely well balanced little cars. Honestly, if the guy was closer, I would have done it. BTW, I have never used cars to get "chicks." Always used my good looks and brains:p . Another thing, call me strange, but I really like the way ae86's look.

So I got this trade offer for a silvertop 20v(8k redline, 165hp, ITB's) powered ae86. But, the guy's in Ohio and I'm in SF! Sorry to sound like a traitor, but a silvertop powered ae86 is a SWEET car! Ahhh!!!

Info:

I have an "86 GTS with a 20V silver top swap in it that i'd be interested in trading. I have a ton of money in it and i bought a mega squirt for it and now i can't get it to run and i'm out of money. It needs a little bit of body work, but it is in pretty good shape. Kyb 8-way adjustables in the rear with 4-ways in the front. Eibach pro-kit. Trd 36 piece bushing kit. Front and rear upper strut braces. Do-luck bar. TRD 4 point harness, kaaz 2-way LSD, and prolly more i'm forgeting about.

Interesting color. You have any plans? IMHO I am not fond of the painted rocker panel/ bumper look, but whatever floats your boat:) . Im intereseted in some weaves, but I'm in CA and i'm afraid the shipping costs alone would cost as much as a set of weaves over here:confused: . How much you want for 'em?

Actually, the more I look at your avatar, the painted bumpers look pretty good. Kind of Mtech'ish.
