Hi Everyone
Hope someone can help. I am trying to register my 318is in France. The French registration authorities require a Coc for the car. BMW France have sent me a pile of paper to fill in before they will issue such a certificate.
Some of the information they require is on a plaque that is mounted on the Passenger, LHD, inner wing. in the engine compartment. Unfortunately for me this plaque is missing.:confused: I have managed to get most of the information but have been unable to discover what I am told by BMW France is the European Code for the car. I believe that it starts with el*. Also does anyone know what the engine number and Engine Type would be for a 1992 318is. The chassis number for the car is EK40673. If anyone could help I would be most grateful
