Electrical / keyless entry

Just bought a 93 BMW 318is for my son. First time BMW onwer and happy to learn more about them.  Problem is we only got one key (no remote) with car and was not sure if it has a keyless entry system already. It has a siren horn mounted on the right wheelwell in the engine area. making me think there is one already installed. Did these car have factory remotes and alarms, or this a aftermarket? If its factory, can I get a remote and program it or not. If not then whats the best aftermarket wireless remote and easy system to get. Thanks

Electrical / service light flashes

Just bought a 93 BMW 318is for my son. Its the first time working on a BMW. The problem is when you start and drive at slow speeds everythings fine, but at faster speeds the engine service light flashes, also does the clock lights and low beam headlights flashes. I don"t think it any codes becauce of the random of the flashing. I thinking its a grounding problem like a lose wire. Is this a common problem? What and where should I start at?
