Engine + Driveline / E36 M42 Overheating,Everything changed PLEASE HELP

This is the first time I ever use a forum but I REALLY REALLY need help. I bought a E36 318is in what looked to be in decent condition. I drove it down about 25-30 miles right after buying it and no problems till I got home. But about a block away from my house the check transmission light came on and went into limp mode (now I own a 99 328i E36 so I instantly new it was the alternator especially after driving that long and no jerks or anything in the tranny) so I go to deeper looking and the POS owner really had a ball with the engine wiring harness.
Literally cut all three transmission cable and reattached them with electrical tape, cut the alternator cables and cut the starter cables as well as having a literally broken in half starter in. So I would say the car sat a month while I gathered everything including a engine harness. When I got it all I installed (I changed engine harness, starter, alternator, intake manifold gasket both top and bottom, oil change , valve cover gasket ,cables and spark plugs while I was there) I KNOW most was unnecessary but I wanted everything to be A1. Changed it all turned the car on and it ran like ass for 10 minutes I would say while I figured out what was wrong.
After tightening down the Upper intake and disconnecting and reconnecting the battery it ran like a dream. Took it for a 10 minute ride no tranny lights nothing. Then the temperature starts to creep up at the light I get to the house (never gets to red just would basically stay 3/4 or just a tad higher) so I think we’ll I’m at the stop and it got hot at idle so it must be the clutch fan. NOPE , then did thermostat then did radiator then did water pump. This thing is still heating up and creeping up super slow,( I’m testing it at idle not on the road) if it is still not too hot just passed the middle and I accelerate it’ll go back down but now if its too hot already, 100% there is 0 coolant loss and that I have bled the system with the car elevated.
I and dumbfounded right now because I literally drove the car 30-40 minutes before with no heat up and after I changed the other parts not even touching anything cooling wise it’s magically starts to heat up. PLEASE HELP AND SORRY FOR MAKING THIS LONG
