I Need your Help!!!

m42 318is

Recently i removed the head from the engine to change the head gasket and while i marked everything so i can put it back where it was i did the exact same mark on both camshafts so i dont know which is for intake and which is for exhast.

Can anyone help me ?
Is there any identification for intake and exhast cam so i know which is which?
Thank you for your answers.

Engine + Driveline / MAF Conversion kit avail

with 595$ , you can get a complete wiring kit , ecu and Maf from the M44 engine and use it on the M42 engine , my best friend did it on his M42 E36 , and works just fine , without ecu reprograming , dyno and stuff... just changed engine wiring , ecu and afm , with the one he got from a M44 engine...the only thing that does not work is Knock sensor that M44 has , and M42 have not..but still you can put Knock sensors to M42 block and make it work...

with your own pics , you can see that these turbo setups are made by professionals engineers and shops , and not my the owner ( as i did by my self ) so i guess it is a litle more compicated than that...as i saw in the pics , these cars have complete transformation in front of the car , they have even changed the base of the bumper...
