Curious... your motor wouldn't work in a 95 318ti with the M42 would it?  I'm thinking the 95 has OBD1 stuff but I'm not sure what the differences would be.  A buddy of mine local is looking to get this 95 ti with a bad motor but good body and interior.  I'm trying to find a motor for him.

it should work just fine i just put an m42 into a 92 chassis and all i had to do was use my old harness and ecu. obd2 didnt come around till 96. but check to see about ews/anti theft system. your vehicle should be equipped with this.

i have a lot of spare parts for sale from my old engine. jumped time and i ended up replacing the motor instead of rebuilding it. i have everything from the oil pan to the intake manifolds and everything in between. valves were bent very little, no visible damage so should be rebuildable. all parts are obo
