Engine + Driveline / Running hot (not fan clutch or bleeding problem)
« on: August 16, 2011, 12:44:47 AM »
Update: Changing the fan clutch worked. Temp guage shows the engine running at a constant temperature during long drives. Went on two +600km trips within a week and the temp guage was rock steady in the middle while cruising and shifted a hair's width to the right, if any at all, when working the engine hard going up lo-o-o-o-ong hills. The same happens when sitting in heavy traffic for more than a few minutes at a time.
All in all, I'm satisfied the new fan clutch solved the problem.
