Engine + Driveline / 7300rpm in stock M42 E36?

Hello everyone 
. I am considering to buy a Conny chip for my 318is. The chip has very good reviews, but the 7300 limiter is what bothers me. Is it safe to run the car at these rpm with everything stock. It is a 1994 E36. Currently it has no problem with holding 6700-6800 rpm for long time (drifting). But I am concerned if the M42 is capable of holding 7300 safely without blowing everything.(30 seconds max).
