hi i am after a sump from a 4 cylinder motor fitted to an e36 before 95.

it is for a modified e30 engine so i could do with an e36 oil pick up and dipstick to.

dont mind if the sump is cracked as i will be cutting it up anyway but if it is cracked i will begrudge paying much moor than the postage.

are. should have said. the engine is not going in a bmw it is for a seven style car i am building. space frame so no crossmember no problem.
the problem seems to be in the location of the oil pickup and wot ever parts 9 and 10 are in this linkeys. i  believe the oil pickup is easily rerouted but i have no clue on parts 9 and 10...?

Well realy my sump is the same as all the rest but it is to low for my aplecation. The engion is from a uk e30is and is going into my 7 style car. Problem is I need to take 25mm off the sump. I work in an enganeering shop so choping and replaiting wuld be a diddle and replasing the drain plug canot be hard. Fit some baffles two.
Is this going to upset the oil fead? Also the way I see it taking that of the sump although decreesing the sump capasatey will not oulter the oil level if less oil is yoused. Am I right?

Can or has it been dun and haw?

Leon
