That's good to know. I will be adding more power later so the lower gearing will help as well. Thanks for the advice!

An oil catch can will help too. It filters out the oil from being recirculated into the intake and there are some pretty good DIY to make one yourself out there. Here's a link.

So i just purchased a 1991 318is and am looking for a lsd. I live in western Washington and the mountain roads are extremely close to me and I am wondering which one would be better. I know that the 3.91 is a 60% lock up and the 4.10 is 25% lock up. Which one would be best for really good windy mountain roads? All the help is very much appreciated.

Is it really that redundant? I wouldn't think that it would be that redundant. More air flow. Would a new intake be just as useful? I want to know what kinda power it would make. Any videos or build threads would be nice. I'm mostly interested in learning about it.

Has anyone seen an e30 318is with itb's and a turbo? Post anything that you find because i am interested in starting this project. I am aware of all of the custom fabrications that would be needed to make this happen. What would be necessary to make this possible? Anything and everything will help. Thanks.
