Ill be putting in a "new" blower as the fan blades must have disintergrated judging from the sound it made.

Ah ok yes those better be replaced. Dropping the subframe can be a big job if the aluminium in the rubbers are fused with the metal from the car, like mine. But once its out the fun starts with removing the old rubber bushes...i put in powerflex and cleaned and painted the whole lot

What rear brake job did you mean? I rebuild my rear brakes subframe etc but never had to drop the tank

Btw isnt 1222 code a lamda sensor issue? Also just check the resistance of each item you think might be failing. Another option find a local "guy" that has software that you can hook up to the obc. That way you can see live if data and if all you sensors etc are working in order. Also any issues with you new or old ecu will surface pretty quick.

So small update: driven it 2300km's so far only the driveshaft and halfshaft nuts came loose....
Installed my vdo pressure sender and all is well, nice 1 bar idle when warm!

Just to follow up on this. I got a new car battery and the malfunctioning econometer and errors are gone. If you have these errors might be worth checking and buying a new battery

Hello bmwman91. I think finding someone that can tune an old computer is probably expensive.
The system im saving for will have a wideband lamda, ev14 injectors, coil on plugs from vag,and all the sensors needed are already on the car, minus the barndoor. What the guy told me a map or maf sensor in not needed if you have inlet temp sensor. Cables and connectors, and the above (minus injecors) all for 750€

So im getting error 1234 speed signal loss, this might also be caused by the si board
