You should be able to find the part numbers on realoem.com/bmw/select.do or bmwfans.info

There's only one radiator mount that needs to be replaced and yes it is a factory part that can be ordered.

Is it a factory mount from the E30 325? E36? Is the Mishimoto the M3 version? The E30 325 version? The E36 325 version?

Yeah, I think I'll just go with the Mishimoto radiator and 325 expansion tank... just need to get some questions answered about the swap, posted on a thread in the engine and drivetrain section. Thank you.

Ok, I'll probably be doing this...

What are you guys doing for a fan and shroud?

What size and length tubing are you using to and from the expansion tank?

What part number is the expansion tank? How are you mounting it?

Are the radiator mounts completely stock?

What mishimoto radiator are you going with?

Hello,

Searched here and r3v for how to get this expansion tank off, but not finding anything. It's leaking, so I was going to check it out and maybe just RTV it back on, but I can't get it off! Don't you just pull up once you have the top bolts and cover off?

Thank you!

I've got the whole assembly from a Volvo which is  a popular swap. Bought it from a Volvo friend but I'll never get around to installing it. Interested?

Whole assembly from a volvo? What all would need to be done to use it?

I didn't find any how to's on how to wire up a fan, you wouldn't happen to know where a link is for that, would you?

I live in Phoenix, AZ, where hot is 120... so I'd like to keep both fans.

Why do you have to remove the aux fan?

An electric puller fan with its shroud from the later E36 318i/is/ti is a direct bolt-up. I got one from a partout on another BMW forum. I also removed my aux pusher fan. Then I made a harness to run the new fan power from the aux fan plug behind the driver's side headlight to the fan (its plug is on the shroud). Cools fine and the AC still works fine although a mod'ed the wiring under the fuse panel so that the fan goes to high speed whenever I turn the AC on.

Huh, so just get any E36 318 efan/shroud and it'll just bolt up? What kind of wiring is needed? I'm terrible at keeping the magic smoke in the wires...

Is anyone selling a setup that I can bolt onto my 318i? Need to get rid of the mechanical fan and can't go out to do this myself.

Ok, door panel is out, motor out, sanding down the bits now that have rust on them.

However, been trying to test to see if the plugin for the motor is getting any power and everything is coming up negative. Anyone know how to test the circular power window motor plugin for power? Been holding down a switch while testing the two prongs against the ground and each other, no voltage detected.

Well, i managed to brand a couple fingers while trying to make the window go up with a paperclip, but it doesn't seem to be a switch issue.

Been searching, can't see a how to on removing the door panels, anyone know?
