Swaps, Turbos, Buildups / M42 light stroker idea - based on ASTRA C20XE pistons

Hello,
I read most of N/A engine stroker buildups on this forum, and I notice that using M3 pistons is very popular here. I found out other alternative.
Because new S5x pistons are very very expensive, and still needs some serious machining i thouhgt that maybe pistons from OPEL/VAUXHALL ASTRA F 2.0 GSI (C20XE) would be almost suitable and 4-times less expensive.
MAHLE ORIGINAL part number 011 77 00
Only the wirst pin is 21mm, so there is need to change small end rod bearing from 22mm to 21mm diameter (very easy for every engine workshop)
So if you can use below parts you can easly reach CR about 10,7:1 11,7:1 and 1940ccm displacement
I would suggest mounting late m42 head (probably after 93).
Advantages of this setup are:
I cant find information about C20XE piston dish cc any ideas?
What do you think about such setup?

- BORE: 86mm (so stock M44 gasket)
- COMP. H: 30,43mm (stock M44 =30,40mm)

- M44 block 212mm height
- M44 crank 83,5mm stroke
- M44 rods 140mm length
I would suggest mounting late m42 head (probably after 93).
Advantages of this setup are:
- 8% more displacement. Light and easy reving engine (crank, rods, valves are lighter than stock E30 M42)
- 100% stock components
- Cheap parts
- standard machining procedurę
- durability
- better performance

Is it working ok? Any dyno charts?
