Swaps, Turbos, Buildups / M42 stroker turbo

Hi guys just joined this forum to seek your wisdom. :)

Me and my buddy have a E30 prepped for racing. The initial plan was to run a SR20 which are plentiful where i live and we built a 410whp motor. However, class rules changed and now we need to run a BMW engine. Now i have another E30 with turbo M50 frankestiein but this is 4 cylinder class and i know nothing about 4 cylinder BMW’s.

It seems my only options are either M10 or M4x. Our class is not regulated by displacement and M10 seems to go as far as 2.7L but that motor is too old and i want to work on something more modern. Will M42 get me to the power levels of the SR20?

The budget is already tight because of the SR20, but it's not super tight. I set my mind to run stroker M47 crank with aftermarket forged internals to help with spool and durability. My question is what crank/rod/piston gives me a turbo friendly low comp setup. Is it a reasily available spec for rod/pistons or i need to get something custom?

What sort of sealing is preferred with this engine? MLS, o ring or Pyramid rings? Head studs available or it needs machining?

What valvetrain and cam parts are required? Is there any weakness about head that i should address?

Lastly, will the intake manifold hold up to 25 psi? Is it not restrictive?
