Suspension / How low is your car? Mine is 3.5" ground to scrape guard

yea man, im really contimplating raising it a bit. not sure which springs though because i want a pretty firm set, but not a big drop.

i just purchased a set of H&R  part # 50404 for a 318is and during install noticed that the old springs are Eibach springs. and the H&R's installed were taller height than the Eibachs so im gonna just get rid of the H&R's i've had them a week and they were on the car for about an hour but idk what to get for them when i sell them i bought them at Turnermotorsport. don't know if anyone is interested in them.  they lower the car aprox 1.25 inches

i will have pics of parts in the next week or two.  I will have all parts except engine and trans for sale the car was rolled so im going to check all parts before selling them if you are interested in specific parts pm me thx

exterior parts are limited the car was rolled so almost all of the body is junk the only body panel that wasnt damaged was the driver side door.  i cut the car into pieces  the body has gone to the junkyard so now i have to take an inventory of what i have and get pics of the stuff

is it possible to have one cut out of aluminium maybe 1/4 inch? with mounting holes and drain plug only cut into it? if so how much  do you think it would cost to have one made?

how much for the head? or engine? also intake boot?

i have a head that needs minor resurfacing i can have it resurfaced for a minimum of $40 here otherwise it is in excellent condition i was going to have it resurfaced for a spare and have the valves checked also have it reasembled i dont know at the moment how much evereything is going to cost but when its finished ill let you know also on the intake boot i have too look it over i dont want to sell junk parts the spare lower end i have has some metal transfer in cylinders 2 and 3 my local machine shop guy said i wouldnt be hard to fix it but i dont have any idea at the moment if there is piston damage because the metal in the cylinder is less than 1/4 inch from the head mating surface ill need a little time to look stuff over and keep everyone posted im also going to have pics posted during the next week
