1991 BMW 318i Convertible 5 speed
186,000 miles
pickup only
Good daily driver and/or restoration candidate.
I’m 2nd owner; brought to Cape Cod from San Diego at 134,000 miles
Highlights of repairs/maintenance (complete record summary available):
• Oil and filter change every 3k miles. All fluids tight.
• Numerous vacuum leaks fixed and O2 and other sensors replaced; starts, runs and idles good (all hoses replaced)
• New front struts and fuel pump @135,000 miles
• New rack @151,000 miles
• Repaint @156,000 (rust starting to appear now, body needs attention again
• New starter and rebuilt head @160,000 miles
• Blower motor replaced @163,000
• Top replaced @166,000 miles (needs new top again)
• Rims (no curb rash) and tires, muffler, tach and plug wires replaced @180,000 miles
I’m selling because I’m too old to keep up with it. She needs a good home hopefully with a garage.
