The chip is ROM Its programmed once, and then you cannot reprogram it. Chip number is TBP18SA030EN. I did not find datasheet for it, but found for TBP18SA030N which i hope will work. As i read its 256bits memory, 32 words X 8bits. It has 16 pins. Now its up to someone reads m42 code plug and write it to another chip.
