I received my COP kit today (thanks, Rob!) and it looks very, very nice. If you are on the fence regarding this, by all means, go ahead. I don't know how much Rob makes per kit, but the cost of the components and shipping can't be much less than the cost of the kit. It's more of a public service than a commercial enterprise.
My one question - you reuse the connectors from the old coils to wire the plug on the new coils, after shortening the wiring harness, or do you need to buy new crimp-on connectors and plugs?
I'll be going over the top of the enginge in a few days, doing the COP, injectors, gaskets and cleaning up the water and vacuum lines beneath the intake manifold. Plus, I need to replace four tires and a rear wheel bearing.
I bought the car in July knowing it would be a project, and I'm looking forward to it.
Pictures and coments to come, on appropriate threads. I'm off to Joe Factor / Luky in Burbank to get some mil-spec items for the work. There's nothing like surplus by-the-pound fastners.
