This month, the iS passed the MOT No problems, advised on the strut brace, rear indicator bulb, slight play in steering rack, perishing front brake hoses. I've had the hoses replaced. While the wheels were off I noticed the right hand front drop link bush is frayed... maybe next month fore that!

I finally bit the bullet and bought a brand new BMW door handle, £70 but it was the correct part, has some warranty and 2 keys. Sorted!

I chucked the carpet mats in the washing machine and they came up really nice, thy're actually a light beige colour! Also removed the seats and gave the leather a scrub with warm soapy water so they look good too.

Next I need to replace the dented boot lid and get some tyres for my 16" wheels.

It's actually for my 320i because it leaks oil all over the ex. manifold. Schhhhmokey! Yeah I've ordered a gasket set, for about £6. Cheap!

NO_CARRRIER, its easy on the M42, takes about an hour max. Some of the bolts at the back of the head are hard to reach.

GM UK/Europe (Vauxhall and Opel) cars used the same Bosch AFM as the M42 in early 90's cars like the Cavalier etc, I know cos we have a box full of faulty/test units in the workshop!

Hi, they should work. I need the key so I can swap the locks over or else I'd have two doors with two different locks and no way of getting in the car if I lose the remote! :S

Now, how much is postage to the UK hehe. I should just go to my scrap yard really.
