How-To's / Re: coolant leak... but not from any of the hoses?
« on: January 17, 2016, 05:18:17 PM »
Its not the connector pipe... I took apart the manifold again to see if any of the connections were loose but they're all connected properly. It seems to be leaking from a point above that block and it drips down from there. I can see where its dripping from when I look down at the engine from above but it doesn't seem to be coming from any hose... I can't quite see what its dripping from but I can see the area where the leak is. Il try to get a pic but its hard to get my phone down there to take it...

How-To's / Help! What part is this??
« on: January 07, 2016, 04:32:59 PM »
Hey guys... new member but have been browsing these boards for a while now. I have a 95 bmw 318i. Im attempting to replace my cooling hoses because I had a leak. I took apart the intake manifold and disconnected all the sensors. As I was removing one of the heater hoses it easily came off and I noticed that part of the plastic connector had broken in half and part of it is still inside the hose, so now I need to replace the connector. I have no idea what this part is called. Ive checked realoem and can't find it there either. Ive attached a couple pictures of the connecting piece. Hopefully you guys can help!
