ok well i got my plugs n wire's, airfilter, and have in new powerflow back box with cat removed , need to bring my cluch back to get it changed to the sports cluch cuz been told the 1 the guy sold me is just standerd one so il be addin sports one next week with the other parts ,,,

am lookin to know somewere to get a auto 3.38 diff ,, dose anyone know were i could pick one of these up id like to find one over next few days so i get all work done at the same time ,,,

and dose anyone think i should upgrade my fuel injectors and fuel pump to the 24lb injectors and better pump , will this make much difrence ?

after i do this il be leaveing it in to be remaped and see about geting it flash downloded cuz the 96-99 318is e36's dont have a removable chip ,,,

much appreciated if someone could help me find the diff am looking and if yas know of a good bmw parts shop and good body shop in or near belfast,,

look up powerflow there good and there in ireland i just got 1 on yesterday i they have a bent box that is 4 keeping the noise down thats the 1 i got cuz same as yours i thought mine was to lould  hear's a few pic's ov mine on the bottem ov this link http://www.dtmpower.net/forum/e36-3-series/186701-96-318is-m44-new-exhaust.html

cost 250 fitted n all

search bmw m44 chip maybe?

0 results found for m44 chip, lol am not that lazzy m8 , i tryed all that b4 i asked this lol

iv e.mailed a few sellers aswell but they havent ansured me with the right ansur yet , they sent me this .... Dear reggie2737,

This one is for e36.
We have also avaliable for E30.
I will need the ecu number and if possible the number is on the stock chip.

so i asked they agane... yea i know its for the e36 but what one is it for the m42 or the m44  e36 they should be getin bk to me soon ,

but i was reading thu a few threads n there sayin stay away from copeys on e.bay so iv asked markB if he has any that would fit the m44 e36 , hopefully he will have something for me ...

ok i been doin some reading and the most the 318is is goin to thro out is 8-9 bhp after a ecu remap,,, (just like what i was told in the shop) allways like to see it somewere else after i been told something

ok so if i get the ecu done thats 8bhp and the strate thu exhaust 12bhp and my K&N air filter say adds about 5bhp if that, + a chip that clames to add 25-30bhp ... all that adds up to about 50-55 bhp am i right if i add that to the 140bhp i have, my car "should" be about 190-195bhp

someone plz tell me if am talkin s#!t lol ,

i realy dont have a clue about this but i would love to learn

hi there, sorry 4 jumping in on your thread like this, but i was looking a  Performance Chip  for my  e36 m44 engine,,,

any tips on were to find one, i been lookin thu e.bay and can see them for the e36 318is but cant see one that says it fits the m44 engine, they seam to range from 90-95 car's (m42's)  good news 4 you guys but were do i look ...

Mmmmmmm so i only got one place to try not so good n that could be out ov stock  

i wouldnt make one, i wouldnt trust it, would have to pay 4 a new one or 2nd hand one and id pay to get it put in aswell i dont like messing with my car just cuz i dont know what am at ,  + i dont mind throing money at my car cuz il be keeping it along time even after i buy my m3 evo over next year or 3 lol


iv e.mailed Downing/Atlanta hopefully they will have one for me

nope. gonna have to build  your own.

what all would i need to buy to buld my own , sorry am new to all this know some about cars but nothing about turbos or S/C ,,,,

cheers, am hopeing to get it supper charged or turboed depens on what am told is best atm am tryin to get the DASC kit but cant seam to find one anywere been told there best bang for ya cash ,

 i have to keep a eye out for good plugs and cables and a good chip for her aswell, if ya know any good ones to go for i love to hear more ...

hi all am new on hear and am lookin to know if there's anywere good to pick up a supper charger kit or a turbo kit for a m44 e36 318is , heard of the DASC but i dont think they sell them anymore can any1 help me out with this ...

and is there anywere thats good in ireland for sticking a turbo/S,C kit on id hate to spend the cash for some daft garage to mess it all up as soon as i turn the key ...

well iv just joined, i drive a e36 318is 1998 its a m44 engion, not much done to it just a few things like high flow headers , cat removed , powerflow backbox , K&N airfilter , lowered allround , anty roll bars front n back , and few other things
