Engine + Driveline / Timing Chain Tensioner Woes

Hi, I bought the m42 timing chain kit from fcp euro and one of the tensoiners doesn't look like the same one that I pulled from the engine. The old one has rubber grommets and had a casing that covered it, but the new one has threads and the case doesn't fit correctly. Is this a upgraded design?
