Swaps, Turbos, Buildups / Help needed: Intoduction to FI.

Hey everyone.
New to this board. Awesome to see a dedicated community to the m42. I have a 1991 318is. I'm thinking of doing up the DASC. I'm a rookie at FI. Can you guys help me out? What kinds of negative factors would a s/c bring? What And how are they dealt with? Also, what other issues would you need to consider? ecu, fuel, drivetrain? Would the motor need to be modifed before hand? Anything would help. Any GOOD websites? I want to make sure I know what's going on w/ the car before i make any decisions! Maybe start SUPER basic and install the dasc, and learn from there. ("Start low and go slow" mentality)
