Interior / stereo for e36

hI I am new to this site...I have a 97 318is with the original Pioneer Cassette/Radio still installed...I need to upgrade the head-unit but do not want to have lots of flashing lights and beeps etc from a new unit....Any recommendations , taking into account the BMW's orange illumination..Do Alpine do a head-unit with orange illumination or Pioneer...Any suggestions or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.......
