I can't help with most of your questions but maybe on the noise question.

What air filter are you running? My car had the original K&N filter that comes with the DASC kit when I bought it and i could hear the super charger. I have since replaced with a sealed air filter and now can't hear it any more.

I'm honestly not quite sure. It looks awfully small and its a grey color. I may try a different filter, I was pretty happy with the KAmotors intake on my first car. Thanks for the input.

Hi all, I didn't see anything in the forum about a 1991 318is DASC, feel free to redirect me if I missed something. So I have a DASC kit on my car, and I'm currently only pushing 5PSI and without a tune. I'd like to be at at least 8-10 PSI, and hopefully get a custom chip from Mark D'Sylva like I had in my first 318is. How much boost can I safely push? I know the PO had the fuel system upgraded, it looks like 90-100ish psi under boost on the gauge. I do not have any added cooling but plan to do so before more boost. I'd like to at least hear the S/C a little bit as well as it is inaudible right now. Any tips or suggestions? Thanks.
