It cut like it's hitting redline / fuel cutoff, anyway thanks to all of your kindly advise. i will check those possible cases !

Dear brother,
My car is 95 E36 M42 318IS AT. My engine can`t run above ~4500rpm...in either P,N and D shift. Is it had any prossible cases? I had already check the fault code (only 72 speed sensor problem). Many thanks for your kindly help!
