since you have it apart buy a new one. they're fairly inexpensive (around 10$)

Engine + Driveline / sputtering in low RPM up to 2.5k

I've been having the same issue, except it happens off and on. Recently, more often than not. In low RPMs, it'll sputter and run terribly, especially when accelerating, and the idle will drop really low and sometimes die. Past 2K, it'll sometimes bleed off power until I move the accelerator. The CEL goes off and on and I get the 1244 code when I test it, so I've replaced the camshaft position sensor, but that didn't do anything. I've also done the "Mess under the intake" hose delete, and installed new injectors, but the problem's still there.

What's weird to me is that the problem will go away for a little bit sometimes, and that if the idle is really bad, I can restart the car and it will idle fine. That makes me think it's got something to do with a bad sensor, I just have no idea which one.

check your fuel pressure. i had the same issues including the 1244 code and my fuel pump was only putting out 17 psi

turn the key to "on" and push the gas pedal 5 times to the floor within 5 seconds. this should start the code giving. they are 4 digits and start with 1.

you should do a stomp test to see if there are any codes. take the icv off and clean it. go from there...

yes, part 6 is the sensor for the gauge. it should have 1 wire. part 8 is the temp sensor for the computer - it has 2 wires. when i did my under the intake cleanup i pulled the wire for the gauge loose and had to reattach it.
