Looks great so far... i really like the fact that you are able to fab up everything by yourself.

Since your SC and intake manifold sits on the same side of the engine bay. You could have used an intercooler with in and out ports on the same side to eliminate having to run IC piping across the engine bay.

I found this on Ebay as an example (The large one - just mount it sidways):

Or this (you have to cut the bottom piece and re-weld it so the ports are both on the same side):

Engine management / Can you remap a stock ECM?

I contacted maxhpkit.com about the possiblity of applying their product for BMWs his reply was as follows:

Hello Michael,

I want to move into the BMW/Audi/VW/Volvo markets as I have the Porsche markets.  All I need to get started is a stock chip to read, and someone to provide dyno or data logging info.  As quick as I can plot the maps for any vehicle, you can use Maxtune with it, the graphical tuning tool.  After dyno/data and user input, I can release a performance chip for that specific vehicle.

If you provide a chip and agree to be a beta tester, you get the final revision of the chip for free.  I typically use more than one tester on each type of vehicle so if there is dyno time involved the tester doesn't have to bear the cost of more than one dyno session.

Let me know if you are interested in helping development.

Regards,
Russell

I'm going to send him an oem chip for an E36 318i and 325i to get his development started.
