Engine + Driveline / Single Roller Timing Chain

I believe the M42 (e36) uses a 94 link timing chain.  It's currently a double roller, and I would like to convert it to a single roller.  Everything is pretty straight forward except for sourcing the chain.  Anyone found a place to get this timing chain?

The problem I am running into now is that the stock electric fan does not have a flat face to mount against the back of the radiator, it's got a large boss for the fan motor.  I will keep working on this and try to get some pictures up....

Hello all, I would like to trim the large stock fan shroud and mount the fan directly onto the back of the radiator.  I want to do this because I need space for a waterfall hood (aka radiator extraction duct).

Has anyone trimmed their stock fan and mounted it on the back of the radiator?
