Thanks.  That sucks.  75 on ebay  Im going to try an find it used.  I wonder if it triggers limp mode when grounded or open?  Is there any way around buying this thing

No, its not in that pic... its a 93 e36 btw.   It just bolts to the block directly under the coolant pipe.  Its the only wire on that doesnt have one of those push clip connectors.  Its got to be a ground

so #15 is a ground?  There is 2 wires in there so i didnt know.  So its not a temp sensor

I broke part #15 where the wires meet the block  


Can the wires just be grounded or do i have to replaces whole thing?

I found a blown fuse, 5amp one for the make-up mirror.  Replaced it and now my windows work but not the sunroof. wierd

Check them, but you do not have to worry about sucking anything into the pump.


(The pickup could still come loose, but its far, far less of an issue.)

Electrical / Sunroof/window Problem

My windows and sunroof stopped working in my 93 318is fuses are all good.  Previous owner ghetto rigged wires for a radar detector into the harness going tothe sunroof.  I removed his mess of wires and cleaned it all up but i stll get nothing from the switches
