Yeah they came out of an e30.

The vib is weird like. At idle, its rough, but as you go its not as bad. Basically if you look at the engine, it doesnt vibrate at all bc the body is vibrating.

I should said I had both tranny and motor mounts on.

Are they that rough?

Yeah pretty much.

Note: I never ran the diff bushing so I cant say how much vib is added.

Engine + Driveline / What should my oil pressure be
« on: December 24, 2010, 07:16:12 PM »
Hey

I was wondering what the average idle oil pressure should be? No one here seems to know jack when it comes to this topic.

On the Bentley it says the minimum should be 7psi, but in the real world what is the average spec'ed oil pressure at idle?

Engine + Driveline / Oil Pressure Switch Size
« on: December 20, 2010, 12:01:43 AM »
Hey

I tired searching but couldnt find anything on this. Does anyone know what size of wrench/long socket I need to remove the oil pressure switch?

I tired a 22mm/(7/8) so I know its bigger than that by a hair.
