Oh so tempting as my 318is is in need of refreshing. She runs great, but i know some of its snappy responsiveness has begun to fade.....Hmmmmmmmm ill need to run it by the wife.

The OEM one is made out of ABS plastic and is VERY durable.

+1

The guy I bought my car off of worked in parts at the local BMW dealership and as part of the deal he agreed to replace all the missing mouldings. He got me the OEM ABS one and its laughed at everything on the road without fail for the past 2 years. Very durable.

318i, 318is, and 325E are both FSP with suspension mods.

325i and 325is are both DSP.

Normal competition out here at ours for me is an ETA or two and this one particular guy in an Accord EX who has been driving for decades. He and I go back and forth alot for 1st and 2nd place.

I have bilstien sport shocks, H&R OE sport springs and I run Khumo VictoRacers v700 on the stock basketweaves. Seems to be working pretty well being that the guy in the accord has a few grand wrapped up in his suspension and only has 1 seat in the car. Hes also been auto-xing for decades where as Im only a year and a half in...

on a side note- i rode with jarod in his E30 318is...WOW...i was impressed...i couldnt give him any pointers at all...very smooth and aggressive driving...took all the lines well and balanced the car perfectly...if that little engine had a little more horsies (or zebras) to pull itself outta the corners, it'd be one great contender...

And we all know how high and mighty those guys are....

If you read the Adobe file....on page 2-5, it states the car had 62 miles upon delivery, was silver, and was fully functional with no known issues....150 lbs of ballast weight secured in the trunk, 5 passengers, all fluids at max levels. 3100 lbs. It was built in October of 1990 and destroyed 2 days after christmas of 1990....

It was my car's twin.....R.I.P.

Hey guys, finally, some people who understand my non-6 cylinder ramblings at the BMW meets...

Anyway, Im Jarod. Im a US Marine. I'm in Hawaii, and love it here. I have a beautiful 1991 318is in Sterling Silver. I Auto-x it regularly and get gobs of admirers from the cars over all condition and sub 90,000 miles. Its bone stock minus the H&R OE sport springs and Bilstien sport shocks, all of which place me in the FSP class. So yeah....did i leave anything out?
