I want more power, but I don't plan on dumping cash into this engine with a supercharger or turbo build.

The goal - To reach 170-180hp at the crank.

The plan - The basics.. Headers, i'm thinking headerback exhaust, muffler, with no cat (maybe, that's why i'm here right?), intake setup, ford injectors, chip, tune.

I'm going to do some weight reduction but i'm most likely keeping ac. I want it to remain balanced and fun but I obviously want a little more grunt.

Any suggestions on products, other mods, whatever?

If I don't reach 180bhp that's just fine but why not set the bar high..

Alright, there's no craigslist posting anymore due to the fact that i've pretty much agreed to get the car in a couple weeks when i'll have the money. I have a couple photos though.. Here's some stats.

JOM fully adjustable coils all the way around, on some Rota Grid V's 16x8 +0 offset, new tires (may I add it looks quite sexy..)
Other than that this car is stock, owner has recently replaced the fuel pump, he's only had it since march so I don't have much history on the car. I have checked it out and it doesn't appear to be leaking anything at all, the odo has 180k on it but it runs great and very peppy.

I don't have any interior pictures but like most e30's that haven't had re upholstery done or had the seats replaced, they are all cracked up, not so much torn just cracked, it's got the tan leather. Carpet needs some serious cleaning which to me isn't a huge deal.. The dashboard looks like the ground after an earthquake it's pretty bad but he does have a plastic (not the furry velcro looking stuff) cover on the dash, it looks alright with that on it.

The paint isn't horrible, the clear coat is wearing down in a lot of places, it is the original paint which is now 22 years old so i'm not surprised.

Zero dents in the body, it also comes with the stock bbs' and tires.

Needs a new windshield ( found one for 150 bucks w/ install )

All electrics work perfectly and I didn't spot any rust though I didn't look really really hard.

My price to pay - 3100 bucks.

What do you think, I haven't purchased it yet and I'm not under any contractual agreement so my options are still open though I would feel like a douche if I backed out now.

Also, I live in Boise, this is the nicest e30 in my area I've ever come across let alone it's for sale and I have the chance to get it.

What do we think? Please I really would like some feedback on what you paid, what area and if you think it's a good buy.
