Is this a good price for this car?

I am trying to locate a clean 318is and pristine examples on autotrader are going for $5K +. These cars are turning into auto-gold.
Would really appreciate if anyone has any leads on a 318is in Norcal.

Hello Folks,

Newbie here. Do not own a M42 yet, but looking to get a 91 318is and building my perfect NA/DD/WW/Track Car build.
The dream would be to get great suspension setup with a MM(Metric Mechanic) 2100 engine 

Hope to learn a lot from all the great folks here.
