Does anyone know if i can just change the upper oil pan gasket or if i would have to change both? I did the lower one a year ago but it seems it is the upper gasket that is leaking

For anyone that has done this, what was the total costs for all parts? Pistons,rings, connecting rods, gaskets etc...? I have access to a machine shop at my school so that wont be a problem and will be doing all installation myself, just wanna know the cost of parts.

Engine + Driveline / E36 Radiator into E30 318is

So how is this setup working out for you? or for anyone thats tried this...

This is the setup i have. expansion tank fit and connected to block expansion tank hose without 90deg coupler. but i had to work it through the power steering hoses and under the intake box then up to the expansion tank.

The Upper Radiator Hose is a NAPA #9683, cut at the end that goes to the thermostat housing. the elbow at the radiator connection just touches the air box. it fits well.

i have two smaller hoses running off the expansion tank at the cap. one that goes to the radiator at the top and one that goes to the radiator using the fan mount as a support to run off to the ground.

i am not running a coolant level sensor.

i have an 88deg wahler thermostat and will be installing the e36 rad temp switch for the auxfan that i just received today.

the switch actually hits the plastic headlight housing protector thing (passengerside), the radiator is a bit large for the switch to fit perfect. ill have to figure something out for that maybe cut a hole in the side of the shield. or just leave it as is.

Hi. tried searching only found m20 flywheel/clutch.  i was wondering if the e36 m3 flywheel/clutch will fit. reason i am asking i might be able to get one for $100.

Alright, i will try that, i put white lithium grease on the fork pivot points and the input shaft splines...What do you mean by plug?
