Engine management / Is the air flow meter necessary?

So ive herd somewhere that the airflow meter can be taken out. but doing so would mess with the computer..  how do i throw it out with affecting performance?

the hubs are good and the brakes are good, this definitely feels like a suspension issue, im just not sure where to start

so recently ive been have some issue with the suspension.  smooth road, driving straight, no problem.  but if im turning, and i hit a bump, it feels like im going over a huge rumble strip, who else has had this issue???

I got my BMW 4 months ago, its my first one, and i love it. here are some fun specs:

1995
318 is (E36)
buy mi. 169000
curr mi. 172500
5 spd
all stock except for audio system
 good condition, runs well
paid: 1500 <--- practically a steal


So aside from the missing mirror, and other cosmetic pilferage, this car is amazing.  as a daily driver its great on gas, but i can always ramp the revs for that race-like feel.
