If you pay for shipping yes, but shipping would cost a lot I assume, defeating the purpose of this purchase lol.

Never used

I cut down a turbo m50/m52 ebay manifold the last two runners, and welded it shut (doesn't leak) . Was going to use on my project car but now I'm aiming at a different direction. Will sell for $120+shipping.

will post up pics soon, text me at 254.247.4424

For Sale / TX: E36 318is fs (project car)
« on: November 12, 2013, 12:36:54 AM »
Doesn't have a passenger fender, will probably need a bonded title, rieger spoiler, beefy welded diff (would be great drift missle project) needs tlc has rear quarter panel damage including passenger door on same side. $1200, has a m42b18 that runs like a champ. I got that car beat up and was planning to fix it up but i've been busy with school and my other cars. I have a clean blue TX title in hand but haven't transferred it to my name. Starter just recently went out, but I may have another one I can get from a friend. Runs when you push start it since it's a manual car. The exhaust is ghetto rigged. Has aftermarket lowering springs and euro tail lights (the pictures show the previous taillights that were on it).

Text me at 254.247.4424, will post more pics when I get the chance.

M42b30?

How is that even possible?

O shit i mean M42B18, I also own a 335i which uses the N54B30; You see I just made a senseless mistake and I talk about the N54 way more lol, apologies.

To the above comment, I have an e36 m42b30 and I was messing with my oe intake boot and I can confirm we only have 1 hose bung.

Swaps, Turbos, Buildups / Bigger Injectors

For all you running a low boost/power turbo setup what kind of injections are you guys running? I'm looking for something ez to put in and that would almost be a direct swap... From what I heard the m42s use a weird injector from research on this site and I rather have something that can flow better than our current injectors or even the Mustang injectors, from what I inquired from searching around is some of you all are running on volvo injectors... Wouldn't they run too rich at idle on a basemap?

Sounds like you need to read a bit to get an idea what you are doing.

Timing is retarded in the upper range due to the increased cylinder pressures. Leaving timing where it would be on an atmospheric engine will just cause detonation.

Running the motor hard for some time now and not a single knock yet

I chose to get a rrfpr and some f150 injectors, same one as mustang injectors. T25 sr20det turbo, runs fine but haven't check AFRs, why should I retard the timing?
Why retard the timing? Wouldn't a more advance timing make a cleaner burn and make it hotter for the turbine to spool faster?

Swaps, Turbos, Buildups / help turbo fmu setup
« on: May 06, 2013, 10:47:22 PM »
Hello fellow m42 enthusiasts, I have turbocharged couple of Hondas with the use of a FMU 12:1.
My question is since Hondas use MAP sensors rather than MAF sensors how would I go by doing so? With the MAP sensor you would have to use check valves (missing link).

I so far will be fabricating my own turbo manifold, Intercooler piping, and will use the warlboro255lph high pressure fuel pump on stock injectors, is this even possible? Sorry for my noob question since this is my first time on putting together a turbo setup for a MAF motor.

p.s. this is my 2nd BMW my first being a e92 335i, and I love the Bavarian auto world <3 :]

thanks in advanced fellas
