Really? Where did you hear that? haha
I use the 666fab manifold but they arent building them anymore. Talk to the guys at goodNtight. They build quality manifolds. His email is: Panayiotisx2@gmail.com. And heres pnp ems, widebands and injectors.
I actually have and extra innovate lc1 wideband id sell you. i run it and mine was super easy to wire up and program.[/
How much ?
Could be a bearing on the motor assembly. Rebuilt is the way to go, but a used fan will save a lot of bucks. I might have a good one lying around somewhere, now that 'm thinking about it.
This guy knows. Ever heard "buy nice or buy twice"? This is similar.
The smart thing to do would probably be see how well the cast alum welds up, use a product like Protex or another alum cleaner to get it as clean as possible. It would save a lot of fab time BUT fighting dirty alum is bad and a big time waster, if any trouble then start with clean sheet. Do you have a water cooled TIG machine?
If you can't afford $200 for a manifold, you cant afford to go turbo. Well, you can, but it will be cheap and unreliable. You get what you pay for.
Seriously, if you skimp, it will bite you.
Start off getting the car on a management system. Once thats solid, start looking at hardware.
