I am considering doing the M47 crank, but want to do FI if i get lower compression pistons say 8.5:1 will this defeat the purpose of the project?

So I have a question bout this build, im thinking bout doing it also im leaning more towards FI if i get low compression pistons will it defeat the purpose of this build?
