How much of a difference does this make? I need to change my throw out bearing and guess this conversion could be performed at the same time. Will it spin into 2nd easily and make a noticeable difference to acceleration

Electrical / Dash lights wont turn off!!!!!

Hi there, I cannot turn my dash lights, number plate lights off. I've changed the headlight switch to no avail. This problem seems to have arisen after i installed an aftermarket radio. I have to remove a fuse to get them to go off.
 Can anybody shed some light on this?
