Thank you for the welcome!
Glad to know the purist aren't on this site. I'm enjoying the experience and it's just another car. I own a few VW Corrados, and those guys are such purists. It drives me nuts. Nissan makes some fun cars. My buddies are into the drift scene and I refuse to drive an S13. Don't get me wrong, they're nice cars. I just don't really like JDM cars.

From my trolling, I read you're one of the go to guys when it comes to boost, Dave.

I'll upgrade to the M3 bushings eventually. I got a refresh kit so I wouldn't have to worry about it for now. Thanks for the tip.

I catch greif from both the BMW owners and Corvette owners in my area about the wheels. On the other hand, I get thumbs up on the highway often from both BMW and Corvette owners. I'm buying some Corvette Salad shooters to have some drift wheels.
The goal is to find some nice Transam wheels.

In other news, while driving down a friend's driveway today, I bent my cross brace that goes just below the transmission. My boss says my car is too low, I still want to go lower.
I plan to build a skidplate tomorrow at work and reinforce the cross brace as well. Call me crazy, but I love low cars. :)

Thank you both! I can't decide what direction I want to go with this car. I think I'm going to just make it a nice daily and try to clean it up some. I originally wanted to turbo the M42 or LS1 swap it and drift it. But I'm not a Chevy guy, and I like the fuel economy of the M42. So I'll probably end up buying a Volvo and Ford 302 swap it to feed my need for drifting.

I really love this E36, it has a shimmy at 55 mph that needs to be taken care of. I'm going to be replacing the control arms, bushings, ball joints and tie rod ends in the next few days once I have the time to put it on the lift. All of the parts arrived last week, I just can't find the time to do the work.

Hello everyone,

I'm Josh Hardy, I'm from South East Virginia. I drive a 1993 318is. I'm a Volkswagen enthusiast that recently got into the ultimate driving experience. You may not like my car or my idea, but that's okay. :)

Here's a picture of my car when I first got it.

Lowered it on H&R race springs and plastidipped the wheels. Sanded and recleared my headlights since they were yellow and foggy. The paint was fading in spots, so I washed the car with a grey scothbrite. I plan to paint the car (GM Bermuda Blue more than likely) in the near future.

Now lowered on Racelands until I can find a set of Koni or H&R coilovers.
The sawblade wheels are for now wheels. I also have most of what I need to turbo the car.

Thanks for looking!
