The hose you need is 8x13.  Buy the good stuff.  You will also need two new hose clamps if your car had the recall done....BMW used a tamper proof style clamp.

I had a buddy years ago that built a stroker motor where the pistons he was using came out of the block too much.  He stacked 2 stock headgaskets spraying them with copper spray before install.  They never gave an issue.

The plastic thermostat housings came on the M44.  Have you tried the Al M42 version??
Not foolproof but a good guide.  If your cam sprocket teeth are sharp, vs square tipped, you have wear.  The curved guide will have ditches and the plastic will be cracking on the straight guide on high mile engines.

Good luck.

Just the straight guide is closer to $200 for genuine BMW.

You will hear a rattle on cold startup when the tensioner starts to go.

I believe I would leave the TC components alone if everything checks out.  155k if the oil was changed and not overheated is not bad.  New timing cover / filer housing gaskets should cure any leaks.

How many miles do you have on your engine?  As good as your sprockets look, you may be ok for a while with just a tensioner.    ECS sells a complete OEM kit for ~$500.  If on a budget, I would replace chain,  curved guide and slider.  Check all the other guides for cracks in the plastic.  The little two are cheap, The long straight guide is $$$ now.
