Title: Advice please on first m42
Post by: e30rob on October 23, 2009, 01:39:27 PM
Hi everyone,

Im currently looking for an e30 318is here in the uk. Ive found a fine example with no rot, excellent paintwork(one tiny rust spot on o/s/r arch) and mint interior.

Theres just one thing putting me off, the mileage, its covered 165k miles.
Should i let this bother me, a friend told me the condition is more important than the mileage but i was hoping to find one around the 100k mark.

What does everyone here think, the owner is looking for about £1700.

Thanks in advance. Rob

Your trying to find a 19 year old car with 100k miles on it . That 's rare indeed . Most people on here have between 150-250 k miles.
If you find one you'll be paying alot for a low mileage m42 e30.
Good Luck
