Title: Camshaft identification

I Need your Help!!!

m42 318is

Recently i removed the head from the engine to change the head gasket and while i marked everything so i can put it back where it was i did the exact same mark on both camshafts so i dont know which is for intake and which is for exhast.

Can anyone help me ?
Is there any identification for intake and exhast cam so i know which is which?

they have marks as I remember E and A

The E actually stands for intake & the A stands for exhaust in german.
