Title: Please help with slight hunting

I don't use my car any more in the week so last week I took it out last weekend and after a good blast :D when I stopped and the car was on tick over there was a slight hunting problem does anyone have any idea where do I start looking :confused:

what's "on tick over" mean, and by hunting, you mean the idle?

usually a hunting idle means a bad ICV, so take it off and clean it with brake cleaner and see if that helps.

Yer sorry I mean on idel the revs are going up to about 1000rpm and down to about 600rpm thanks for the help I will give that a go

+1 on the icv ............clean it and then connect 12 volts to it  while it's out of the car to see if the little door inside opens and closes.
