Title: does anyone have any input on sleeves?

hey I'm wanting to do a super charger build on my m42 and Ive been doin allot of reading on it. I have noticed that no one uses sleeves is there a reason for that? I know its big with the import guys. thanks for any info I'm going to be going for allot of boost and i would like to know if this is an option for making my m42 more bullet proof.

thank you sorry about the newb question this is going to be the first motor I really get into. I'm really trying to cover my basses be for i get into it. Thanks again.
