Title: gasket source?
Post by: kevins08 on October 02, 2009, 02:14:45 PM
where can i get a complete gasket set for the m42? is the local parts store the best bet? ill be running a mls gasket from vacmotorsports but will need everything else. quality is a must, but dont need to shell out $1000 for gaskets or something ridiculous either. the engine is an m42 from a 94 318is with a 91 oil pan. thanks in advance!

We buy our gaskets from Pelican.

I can get the kits, cheaper than Pelican. Victor Reinz german brand. Not as good as OEM, but good enough. Used them for my m42 rebuild. PM if interensted.
