Hey guys and girls. I am looking for the member that had machined the water pump plate. Do any of you remember that thread? It had pics and all. The member had replace the water pump with an electric one. Please help me out. I have been planning this for a long time. Thanks. Tony.

Can't help, but you've got me curious. What electric pump are you going to use?
-
I would like to get the delete plate as well
As far as water pumps go, Meziere makes the best. They are pricy but you get what you pay for...

Its Davies Craig. EWP. They have complete kits on http://www.hrpworld.com. They also have electric fan kits as well.
By the way VonKamp, how are you gonna mount an external water pump like the ones on the Maziere website. It looks like all there pumps are for American cars.

All you would really need is a fabricated bracket, the plate, hose adapters and the pump kit. If you do it I'd be really curious to see how much power you pick up. Those pumps work really well, but i'm not sure how long they last compared to a stock one.

The Davies Craig one they say is the top of the line. I have done some research and come up with almost the life time of the car but the can is an indecisive estamite.

on a 318i bmw, how do i bypass the heater hose as the heater core is out; please help

the same way you do it on any other car, connect the two hoses that should normally attach to the heater core
