What does that mean?  Do I just need to clear it and its okay?  Will I be driving and the car just quit on me?  What should I do to fix it?

I don't know, do a google search or go to the dealer and have it scanned with the bwm tool. the codes are different depending on how you retrieve them wheather it be through the diag plug or the accel pedal.

have a scanner that covers codes other than the traditional powertrain codes?
