I fired her up today. After about ten minutes of rough running while the lifters pumped back up and the computer relearned everything she smoothed out and sounds great. 700 bucks. Oh ya!!!
Ok so it was 700 plus what I have had to put into it. I think it's under a grand.
Anyway, lots of noise from the Power Steering pump because it's empty. I can't fid what I'm supposed to use. Don't just say ATF, thers a million different kinds. Someone tell me what type I need to use.
Thanks.
P.S., has anyone used the Lucas conditioner/stopleak in theirs? I used that in my SAAB and it was great. I do want to just try the regular stuff in this first.

These ZF Pumps in the M42 use ATF Dexron III. It can be any brand. Personally I just use Castrol ATF Dexron III. Works fine for me.
Don't forget to bleed the power steering as well.

Thanks, that's what I was looking for. I only use Castrol products so that sounds fine with me.
